On the other hand, Jim had a family watch that was so precious to him that if King Solomon been a janitor Jim would have pulled out his watch every time he passed to jut him King Solomon pluck his beard from envy. (Henry, 99) Della and Jim loved each other so much they gave up their most beloved items. Love is composed of a wizard soul inhabiting two bodies. (Aristotle) Della loved Jim so much that when she sold her hair for twenty dollars she was ransacking the stores for Jims present. (Henry, 99) She wanted to find the perfect gift for him, so she sold her most prized possession to buy a favourable chain for his valuable watch face.Also Della said a very romanticistic thing to Jim showing how much she loved him. (Henry, 101) When Della said this to Jim it showed how much she really sacrificed her hair just for his love. You taket need money for love you need to sacrifice. Della and Jim are poor but very in love. So in love, which they gave up their pet possessions for each other. That is amazing to do something that hard for someone else. That really shows what populate w ill do for love.
